Kristy has been honing her storytelling skills since she won her first 4-H youth speech competition at age 8. Fast-forward through 13 years of national speech and debate tournaments, and speaking at conferences, and Kristy landed in front of a camera as a national spokeswoman for the American Kennel Club (AKC). There, she shared her expertise on everything canine with media outlets like KTLA, KTVU and WRAL. She even helped Mario Lopez select the right breed for his family on an episode of Extra!
